Hello Amaryllis!

Allow everyone to enjoy the impressive large Amaryllis flowers, which will flower one after the other. Draw your customers’ attention to this impressive bloomer and present it in a vase in your shop. The Amaryllis’s stem is sometimes not strong enough to bear the weight of the flowers; a stick in the stem is then a solution to keep them upright.

The Amaryllis is a good addition to a striking display in which attention is not directed to the flowers but to the stems! Decorate the stems with a piece of lace. Use a rough type to match the robust look of the flower. Another decorating idea: allow them to curl at the bottom by cutting into them slightly, and give them some room in a spacious glass vase.

In bud, the Amaryllis already looks grand and strong. Customers sometimes find it difficult to imagine that the flowers will look even more impressive as they flower. So put a few fully flowering Amaryllises in your shop. Wow!

Nothing is too crazy for the Amaryllis. Attach the stems of this winter flower to a branch or rail above your table and allow the flowers to hang down. Or hang a number of Amaryllises upside down on the wall – as a live flower painting. Pour a little water into the hollow stems, as this will keep the flowers beautiful for longer.

A collection of Amaryllises in the form of a wreath looks fabulous on the counter. The weight the flower means that the flowers easily stay in place. Obviously you could also use an oasis ring for the base. Do punch holes in the oasis first, so that the stems can be inserted easily.

To extend the flower’s vase life, tell your customers that they should always use a clean vase and add cut flower food to the water. It’s also a good idea to avoid placing the flowers near a bowl of fruit. Fruit emits ethylene gas which will cause the flowers to age more rapidly.
